Impact Dia subbed on during halftime and scored the equalizer in the 55th minute, but they couldn't hold the draw to earn one point on the road. The forward now has six goals in the season. He started in nine of his 13 appearances so far.

Loaned to Salernitana Dia has joined Salernitana on a season-long loan from Villarreal, the club announced Thursday.

Impact Dia tallied five goals and five assists in 25 La Liga appearances (13 starts) in his first season with Villarreal last year. It was not a bad return by any means, but the club has so much depth up front that he needed to move away in order to secure more playing time. He has chosen a move to Italy for this campaign with Salernitana, where he will challenge Federico Bonazzoli and Erik Botheim for a starting spot in the front-two.
