Giorgos Giakoumakis - Ruled out to face NYCFC Giakoumakis has been ruled out of Saturday's match against New York City FC on Saturday due to a bone bruise, Doug Roberson of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Impact Manager Gonzalo Pineda confirmed the absence of Giakoumakis, who leads Atlanta with five goals this season. The MRI revealed Giakoumakis' knee is structurally sound, however, so the injury shouldn't keep him out for a long time. His next chance to feature will come against Philadelphia on April 14, and Jamal Thiare could emerge as his replacement since the status of Daniel Rios (calf) is also up in the air for Saturday.
