SAN DIEGO-- After retiring 18 straight Padres, Nats starter Jeremy Hellickson has allowed a base hit.

Travis Jankowski did the damage; grounding a base hit past the outstretched glove of second baseman Howie Kendrick to lead off the bottom of the 7th.

The Padres currently trail 3-0.
