The home run tied the game at two apiece. With the home run and last night’s 3-4 batting line, Hedges seems to have found something at the plate.
Top pick makes debut
MacKenzie Gore made his pro ball debut tonight for the Padres organization in Fort Wayne. He threw three innings, giving up five hits and two earned runs. The third overall pick in the 2017 draft struck out four and threw 42 of his 66 pitches for strikes.
