FSSD announces 2018 Padres spring training telecast schedule

SAN DIEGO – FOX Sports San Diego, in partnership with the San Diego Padres, today announced their 2018 Spring Training telecast schedule, featuring 13 total games available on the regional sports network and on FOX Sports GO.

FOX Sports San Diego will televise 13 games, including the first game of Spring Training on February 23 when the Padres take on the Seattle Mariners in the annual Charity Game. Two games will be made available through a FOX Sports West simulcast when the club faces the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (February 25-26) and one by way of FOX Sports Kansas City when the Padres visit the Kansas City Royals (March 6). The final Spring Training broadcast will feature the Padres and their Triple-A affiliate, the El Paso Chihuahuas, in an exhibition game on March 26.

Padres play-by-play announcer Don Orsillo returns to the booth for all spring telecasts produced by FOX Sports San Diego, while former Padres starting pitcher Mark Grant and former Padre Mark Sweeney will spilt time in the analyst seat throughout Spring Training. Former Major League Pitcher, Bob Scanlan also returns to deliver sideline reports for all games produced by FOX Sports San Diego.

In addition to telecast coverage, all Padres games on FOX Sports San Diego will also be available on FOX Sports GO. The FOX Sports GO app is currently available for iOS, Apple TV, Android, Android TV, Fire tablets and Fire phones, Roku players and Roku TV, select Windows devices, and online at FOXSportsGO.com.  Fans can download the mobile app for free from the iTunes App Store, Google Play, Amazon App Store and Windows Store.
