SAN DIEGO — FOX Sports San Diego is pleased to announce MLB All-Star Programming presented by the San Diego County Chevy Dealers starting Monday, July 4. The special programming will include three original shows including 19 Memories, a tribute to Tony Gwynn, two past All-Star Games and live shows with XTRA 1360 FOX Sports San Diego and FOX 5.
"We’re excited to deliver a rich schedule of original programming during All Star Week," said Henry Ford, Senior Vice President and General Manager, FOX Sports San Diego. "This is made possible in part by the many FOX entities that we are partnering with on content. They include, FOX Sports, FS1, FOX 5, FOX Deportes and XTRA 1360, FOX Sports Radio. Utilizing our set at Park At The Park, and soon-to-be-installed technology, we hope to capture the excitement of All Star Week, and truly showcase our beautiful city."
The 2016 MLB All-Star Game airs Tuesday, July 12 on FOX.

1992 MLB All-Star Gamefrom San Diego, CA: Marking the first MLB All-Star game in San Diego since 1978, the 1992 midsummer classic at Jack Murphy Stadium featured five San Diego Padres, including three starters in Tony Gwynn, Fred McGriff and Benito Santiago. Led by three hits from All-Star game MVP Ken Griffey Jr., including a solo homer, the American League topped the National League 13-6.
1994 MLB All-Star Gamefrom Pittsburgh, PA: In one of the most exciting and competitive MLB All-Star games to date, Fred McGriff’s two-run pinch hit home run in the 9th inning tied the game for the National League. San Diego’s Tony Gwynn went 2 for 5 with 2 RBI and scored the game-winning run in the 10th to complete the comeback and give the National League the 8-7 win over the American League.
