Center Ryan Kesler is a new face for the Anaheim Ducks but he is by no means new to the sport of hockey. Kesler was drafted in 2003 by the Vancouver Canucks and has been playing with the team for the entire duration of his NHL career- that is until he was traded to the Ducks this 2014-2015 season. This veteran player is a two-time Olympian who won silver with the US National Hockey Team back in 2010. Throughout his first season with the Ducks, Ryan has set foot on the ice 47 times, scored 13 goals, and provided 17 assists. Kesler is a force to be reckoned with and the Ducks are happy to have him on their side for a change.

Having spent his entire NHL career in Canada, this 30 year old has traded snow boots for flip flops and can now enjoy spending time with his family at the beautiful Southern California beaches. During the off season, Ryan returns to his hometown in Michigan with his wife, Andrea, and their three children, Makayla, Kinsley, and Ryker. Kesler also loves to listen to rap music and is on the cover of the video game NHL 2K11. All season long, keep up with Kesler and the rest of the Anaheim Ducks right here on FOX Sports San Diego!
