ARIZONA-- Padres starter Tyson Ross has no-hit the Arizona Diamondbacks through six innings. The right-hander has struck out nine and walked one.

If there is one thing that may prevent him from going the distance, it is his pitch count. Ross has thrown 88 pitches in his six innings of work.

The Padres, of course, do not have a no-hitter in their 49-year history as a Major League team.
