6N: No action against Scotland, England for tunnel incident

DUBLIN (AP) Six Nations organizers will not take any disciplinary action against Scotland and England following an investigation into an alleged scuffle between players in the tunnel before their match on Saturday.

Six Nations Rugby said Wednesday there was ''some evidence of pushing and shoving in the tunnel'' but that there was ''no clear evidence of violent conduct or similar against any individual player.''

The body will write to both countries to remind them of their players' ''obligations to uphold the reputation of the tournament at all times.''

The incident appeared to flare up as England flyhalf Owen Farrell attempted to barge past Scotland players as they came off the field following the warm-up.

Scotland won 25-13 against defending champion England, which had won 24 of its 25 previous matches under coach Eddie Jones.

Ireland leads the standings on 14 points after three games, followed by England (9) and Scotland (8).
