6N: France has 3 players out injured for Scotland game

PARIS (AP) France's Six Nations defeat against Ireland has led to flyhalf Matthieu Jalibert, scrumhalf Antoine Dupont and flanker Kevin Gourdon being ruled out of the next match against Scotland with injuries.

The 19-year-old Jalibert, who made his test debut in Saturday's dramatic 15-13 loss, injured his left knee and hobbled off after 30 minutes.

Dupont, on as a second-half replacement, ruptured his right-knee ligaments toward the end at a rain-sodden Stade de France. He is out for the rest of the season.

Gourdon, meanwhile, has a minor ankle injury.

Jalibert is replaced in coach Jacques Brunel's squad for the trip to Murrayfield next Sunday by veteran Lionel Beauxis. He has 20 test caps but last played for France six years ago in a Six Nations defeat away to Wales.

If selected, Beauxis may take the kicking duties from scrumhalf Maxime Machenaud, who struck two penalties for France against Ireland.

Dupont's place goes to uncapped 20-year-old Baptiste Couilloud, while the vastly experienced Louis Picamoles - who has 68 caps - comes in for Gourdon.

France scored a late try to lead Ireland 13-12 in Brunel's first game in charge, only for Irish flyhalf Jonathan Sexton to land a stunning dropped goal from 44 meters out with the last kick of the game.
