NEW YORK – National and Super Bowl champion Charles Woodson joins FOX Sports’ BIG NOON KICKOFF, FOX NFL KICKOFF and FOX NFL SUNDAY for select appearances this season. One of the game’s most decorated players at the collegiate and professional levels, Woodson makes his debut next weekend.
On Saturday, Sept. 21, Woodson joins BIG NOON KICKOFF host Rob Stone and analysts Brady Quinn, Reggie Bush, Matt Leinart and Urban Meyer at 11:00 AM ET on FOX prior to BIG NOON SATURDAY featuring Michigan at Wisconsin. A two-time All-American, Woodson led the Wolverines to an undefeated season and National Championship in 1997, the same year he became the only individual to win the Heisman Trophy while playing significant minutes on both sides of the ball.
The following day, Woodson makes appearances on FOX NFL KICKOFF with host Charissa Thompson and analysts Tony Gonzalez, Michael Vick, Dave Wannstedt and Colin Cowherd at 11:00 AM ET, and FOX NFL SUNDAY with co-hosts Curt Menefee and Terry Bradshaw and analysts Howie Long, Jimmy Johnson and Michael Strahan at 12:00 PM ET. Among the many accolades he earned over 18 years with the Oakland Raiders and Green Bay Packers, Woodson was the 2009 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, 1998 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, won Super Bowl XLV with the Packers and was honored with the NFL’s 2015 Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award.
Woodson will make select additional appearances on the programs throughout the college and NFL seasons, including the biggest rivalry in NCAA football, as Michigan hosts Ohio State on Saturday, Nov. 30.
