LOS ANGELES – FOX Sports has added former U.S. Men’s National Team midfielder Maurice Edu to its studio coverage for the international friendly between the U.S. and Colombia. Coverage begins Thursday, Oct. 11 at 7:00 PM ET on FS1.

Edu joins FOX Sports lead studio host Rob Stone and U.S. Soccer Hall of Famer Alexi Lalas live from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.

Once the match kicks off, lead play-by-play announcer John Strong, analyst Stu Holden and reporters Katie Witham and Rodolfo Landeros call the action.

Edu appeared in 46 games for the U.S. Men’s National Team, including the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. A first-round pick by Toronto FC and MLS Rookie of the Year, Edu also played for the Philadelphia Union and Scottish Premier League side Glasgow Rangers.

Thursday’s match will be the 20th clash between the Americans and Los Cafeteros since 1961.
