FS1 Offers 17 Hours of Live Uninterrupted Coverage

NEW YORK – Just days after a thrilling playoff finish to the 73rd U.S. Women’s Open Championship, FOX Sports heads north to Quaker Ridge Golf Club in Scarsdale, N.Y., for the 40th Curtis Cup Match. Uninterrupted coverage of the 2018 Curtis Cup begins Friday, June 8 at 11:30 AM ET on FS1, as part of the USGA Championships on FOX presented by Rolex.

Great Britain & Ireland come to Quaker Ridge looking to defend their win at the 2016 Curtis Cup Match, which they won 11½ – 8½ at Dun Laoghaire Golf Club in Dublin, Ireland. Although the United States holds a commanding lead in the all-time match record at 28-8-3, the teams have alternated victories since 2010 with two wins a piece, and the United States team is eager to claim another victory on its home turf.

On Friday and Saturday, June 8 and 9, FS1’s foursomes coverage airs from 11:30 AM ET to 2:30 PM ET, and following a brief break in competition, resumes with four-ball matches from 5:00 to 8:00 PM ET. On Sunday, June 10, the final round of singles matches and the conclusion of the historic match air from 1:00 to 6:00 PM ET on FS1. All linear coverage will be streamed concurrently on the FOX Sports App.

FOX Sports’ broadcast team is highlighted by Curtis Cup veteran and five-time USGA champion Juli Inkster, who serves as an analyst in the 18th Tower alongside play-by-play announcer Shane O’Donoghue, hole announcer Shane Bacon and rules analyst David Fay. Nicole Castrale, Steve Scott and Michael Breed serve as on-course reporters throughout the championship, while reporter Holly Sonders conducts player interviews and special features.
