Royals and Blue Jays Battle for 2015 American League Pennant Beginning Friday on FOX and FS1

After culminating its ALDS coverage with two exciting Game 5s on FS1 yesterday, FOX Sports keeps the momentum going on the MLB coverage with the AL Central Champion Kansas City Royals set to face the AL East Champion Toronto Blue Jays for the American League pennant. Coverage of the ALCS begins Friday, Oct. 16, at 7:00 PM ET on FS1 before the pregame shifts to FOX broadcast network at 7:30 PM ET leading into the game telecast at 8:00 PM ET.

Joe Buck, Harold Reynolds and Tom Verducci call the action for the ALCS action from the booth with reports from Ken Rosenthal and Erin Andrews.

Joining host Kevin Burkhardt is former All-Star Raúl Ibañez, three-time World Series champion and all-time MLB hits leader Pete Rose and Hall of Famer Frank Thomas and one of the premier starting pitchers in Major League Baseball, Washington Nationals ace Max Scherzer for ALCS studio coverage. Scherzer is a three-time All-Star who this year became one of only six Major League pitchers to throw two no-hitters in the same season. Ten-year MLB veteran CJ Nitkowski, World Series champion Dontrelle Willis and former National League Rookie of the Year Eric Karros also contribute throughout the series.

All ALCS games on FOX & FS1 are also televised in Spanish exclusively on FOX Deportes, the leader in Spanish-language sports media, and via FOX Sports GO, the app that provides live streaming video of FOX Sports content at home or on-the-go. FOX Deportes covers the ALCS exclusively with pregame shows and expert analysis from retired Los Angeles pitcher Duaner Sanchez. Joining Sanchez on the call are commentators Francisco X. Rivera and Carlos Alvarez. FOX Deportes’ digital platforms supplement efforts through social media channels and provide additional coverage on FOXDeportes.com.
