Russian journalist Maria Komandnaya serves as a FOX Sports reporter for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™. She previously worked for FOX Sports during the network’s coverage of the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup.
She co-hosted the 2018 FIFA World Cup Draw live from State Kremlin Palace in Moscow in December 2017 with more than 1 billion viewers all over the world and is esteemed for her work with TV Rain Channel, Moscow FM and Match TV.
Maria Komandnaya serves as a journalist for Russian Channel One, and has interviewed several key soccer players and international sports stars during her career. She also worked as a special correspondent for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics, 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics and 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics. Komandnaya has made a name for herself in Russian soccer during the past decade, becoming one of the country’s most recognizable journalists across radio, TV and magazine publications.
