UC President Ono joins fans in the stands

If you follow UC athletics at all, then you likely know who Santa Ono is.

In case you’re unfamiliar, Ono is the President of the University of Cincinnati, and he has made a habit of making appearances at UC sporting events. Following the Bearcats’ 10-game win streak, he publicly shaved his head to benefit the Dragonfly Foundation, easily his most publicized event.
Ono has taken his promotion of UC to new levels, and he clearly has the full support of the students and the fanbase at UC.
Tonight, during halftime of the Cats’ win over Rutgers, Ono joined his fellow UC fans in the stands and chatted with some of them.
Prior to this sit-down, he was on-court tossing t-shirts to the student section.
It’s not often that a university president has a following, but Santa Ono does. With good reason.
Oh, and then he went and did this….

Cincinnati’s local rival, Xavier, was battling Dayton at the time of the Tweet. Yes, UC fans must LOVE this guy.
(He later Tweeted that he has a Flyer working in his office)
