ATLANTA (AP) — The Latest on snow coming to Atlanta along with Super Bowl (all times local):

7 a.m.

Atlantans awoke to mild weather five days before the Super Bowl, but forecasters say temperatures will soon plunge as a winter storm front moves eastward, threatening to coat the streets in ice.

National Weather Service meteorologist Sid King says the storm system moving into Atlanta has slowed somewhat, but is still expected to usher in temperatures in the 30s by Tuesday afternoon. By evening, it could be in the 20s.

Less than an inch of snow is expected in Atlanta, but emergency officials say they're more concerned about the potential for ice.

Delta Airlines canceled about 175 of Tuesday's flights in Atlanta because of the possibility.

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp closed state offices in more than 30 counties, including the Atlanta area.

The storm comes five years after vehicles were stuck on Atlanta freeways in what became known as "snow jam."
