With the Braves coming closer the end of manager Bobby Cox’s final season, Atlanta has the same fire and desire to win as their future Hall of Fame manager.

With a managing career that spans four decades, it was no simple task especially, it seems, to put into words as to what Cox has meant to the city of Atlanta, the team and Major League Baseball.

With his records, consecutive division titles (15) and World Series Championship comes a little notoriety. Cox also has been known to disagree with an umpire’s call from time-to-time and holds the record for ejections during his career.

With 158, he has set a record that likely will never be broken. John McGraw was the leader until Cox broke it three years ago. If you try looking up Cox
