Sun Devils Report (09.01): A good problem to have

By Hod Rabino and

In 2007 ASU had a solid stable of running backs with Ryan Torain and Dimitri Nance (both currently in the NFL) and Keegan Herring which helped to established a formidable ground attack. After two subpar years this corps is poised to once again be a threat.

Sophomore Cameron Marshall leads this group after averaging 4.6 yards a carry last year, fellow second year player Jamal Miles has made a successful conversion from wide receiver, true freshmen Deantre Lewis and Kyle Middlebrooks came as advertised and sophomore James Morrison has generally been performing well in whatever leftover snaps he can get.

A lot of talent, but perhaps not enough carries a game to go around.
