The Cardinals announced contract agreements with long snapper Mike Leach and linebacker Reggie Walker.
Leach (6-2, 240) agreed to a three-year deal. The 13th year NFL veteran joined the Cardinals in 2009 after spending seven seasons as the long snapper for the Denver Broncos. Leach has played in 152 consecutive games, the longest streak on the team and third-longest among active NFL long snappers. He began his career with the Tenneesee Titans in 2000 as an undrafted free agent out of William & Mary.
Walker (6-0, 244) got a two-year deal after finishing second on the team last season with 16 special-teams tackles. He’s played 34 games for the Cardinals over the past three seasons as a core member of their special teams. He joined the team as a rookie free agent out of Kansas State.
