Jamal Woodyard, who was Southern Mississippi’s leading rusher last season as a redshirt freshman, was one of three men arrested over the weekend and charged with felony second-degree robbery, according to the Mobile Press Register.
He was released from jail after posting a $15,000 bond.
According to the report, Woodyard and two others robbed an 18-year-old man on Friday night, taking cash and his cell phone.

The school has not addressed the issue publicly, but Woodyard is expected to miss the entire 2012 season after injuring his knee in the Hawaii Bowl.
