SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota Wild have lost nine of 10 games but are finally getting back some players from the group whose injuries sent the team into a tailspin.
Forwards Devin Setoguchi and Casey Wellman were activated from injured reserve Tuesday.
Setoguchi (knee), 25, last played on Dec. 6 and has eight goals and five assists in 28 games. He was acquired from the San Jose Sharks in a draft night trade and has 172 points in 295 career NHL games.
Wellman (wrist), 24, last skated Dec. 13 at Winnipeg. He has two goals and two assists in seven games.
Matt Kassian, 25, was reassigned to the Houston Aeros of the AHL to make room on the roster.
