MONDAY NIGHT’S PADRES-DODGERS GAME SET NEW RATINGS RECORD
SAN DIEGO – Monday night’s Padres vs. Dodgers game on FOX Sports San Diego set a new record for the network’s highest-rated telecast.

According to Nielsen Media Research, yesterday’s 6-3 Padres win over the Dodgers produced an overall average rating of 3.93 in the San Diego market, equating to over 42,000 households. This was the Padres’ first game against the Dodgers since Thursday, April 11 when the two teams engaged in a bench clearing incident on the field. The network’s previous ratings record was set that night with a 3.87 household rating.
“We’re very pleased with last night’s ratings performance,” said Henry Ford Senior Vice President and General Manager, FOX Sports San Diego. “Fans are eager to tune in and cheer on their home team to win and sponsors are pleased with the performance as well.”
Monday night’s game was sold out of advertising inventory. Overall, FOX Sports San Diego is pacing 40% ahead of last year in ad revenue with limited remaining inventory for upcoming Padres games.
The Padres continue their three-game series against the Dodgers tonight starting at 6:30 PM PST on FOX Sports San Diego.
