Preview: Wild at Blue Jackets

The Wild has opened the preseason with a 0-3-1 record, but head coach Todd Richards isn’t worried. If Minnesota loses its final two preseason contests to Columbus, then there might be concern around Xcel Energy Center.

The Wild, like many NHL teams, spent its opening games of the preseason evaluating the talent of prospects. The lineup was only partially filled with players that will make the Wild’s final roster. Starting tonight in Columbus, and continuing in the Wild’s final preseason game Thursday, Minnesota won’t have that excuse. Minus a few cuts yet to be made, the roster will look nearly identical to the regular-season lineup.

The Wild look to find their regular-season form in Columbus tonight at 6 p.m. CT

Don’t forget to follow all the coverage as the Wild open’s the regular season in Finland.
