GREEN BAY, Wis. — On the first day of rookie orientation camp, the Green Bay Packers announced the signings of all eight 2012 draft picks.
Early in the day, the notable absence from the list was first-round selection Nick Perry. However, Perry had reported to Green Bay along with all of the other rookies and was set to take the practice field in the afternoon. He signed before that first practice.
“That isn’t an issue,” Perry said of not being signed in the morning. “It’s going to get done. My agent’s working very hard on that. There’s no issues with that. They’re taking care of it. Right now I’m just trying to focus on football and that’s the main thing right now for me.

Safety Jerron McMillian’s agent confirmed Thursday that his client was the first to sign with the team, with the Packers officially announcing the rest of the additions Friday.
In addition to Perry, defensive end Jerel Worthy (second round, Michigan State), cornerback Casey Heyward (second round, Vanderbilt), defensive tackle Mike Daniels (fourth round, Iowa), McMillian (fourth round, Maine), linebacker Terrell Manning (fifth round, North Carolina State), offensive tackle Andrew Datko (seventh round, Florida State) and quarterback B.J. Coleman (seventh round, Tennessee-Chattanooga) were all added to the roster and participating in Friday’s practice.
