This group has done a tremendous job considering the injuries. Starting end Ryan Pickett has played about 15 snaps in the last five games. Fellow starting end Cullen Jenkins has missed one game with an injured calf and has seen his snaps limited because of a broken hand. Second-round pick Mike Neal and oft-injured former first-rounder Justin Harrell are on injured reserve.
With all the injuries, B.J. Raji has played more than 85 percent of the defensive snaps, a huge number of a 335-pound man. Jenkins lead the group with four sacks and 13 quarterback hits, but he has no sacks and just two hits since Week 5. Seventh-round pick C.J. Wilson appears to be a find, and waiver-claim Howard Green has been a huge asset (pun intended) the last two weeks.
