Michigan State adds 2014 recruit
Just a day after advancing to the Sweet 16, Tom Izzo and his staff added a 2014 commitment.
Bel Air (Kans.) Sunrise Christian Academy standout Marvin Clark committed to Michigan State on Monday. Clark picked the Spartans over scholarship offers from Kansas State, Indiana and Seton Hall.
"In all, it was a hard decision and probably the hardest decision I’ve had to make," Clark told Scout.com in an exclusive interview. "When I got there, it just felt like home."
"Another factor was my mom," Clark said. "She wanted me to stay close, after being there that’s where she wanted me to be. She said regardless of how basketball went that she felt like I would be taken care of there. I couldn’t get the feeling off my mind."
Clark took his official visit to Michigan State on March 1st.
MSU now has a trio of pledges in their 2014 class. Clark joins fellow three-star recruits Javon Bess and Lourawls Nairn.
