Kevin Love may play Saturday

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota

Timberwolves forward Kevin Love says he may play as soon as Saturday

after missing the first 18 games of the season with a broken left hand.

Love was injured in the preseason and required surgery. Coach Kurt

Rambis said after Thursday’s practice that Love will determine when he

plays.

The Timberwolves play at New Orleans

on Friday night and host Utah on Saturday night. Love says the Utah

game is the most realistic goal for his return.

The Wolves are just 2-16 this season and have missed Love’s scoring and rebounding.
