As expected, there were a lot of big jumps for the Badgers on individual ballots. Only six voters didn’t have UW in single digits.

Among the big jumps: Nine spots from Rich Bozich (12 to 3) and Kieran Darcy (15 to 6). and eight spots from Joey Johnston (11 to 3), Jim Benson (13 to 5), Kevin Lyttle (14 to 6) and Tom Keegan (14 to 6).
In fact, pretty much everyone moved Wisconsin up on their ballot – no shock – although two voters did keep the Badgers in the same spot.
Then there’s the case of Jon Wilner of the San Jose Mercury News, who has now dropped the Badgers on his ballot in each of the last two weeks. He currently has Wisconsin sitting at No. 17. A curious case indeed.
