Heat’s LeBron James named Player of the Week
LeBron James may have a sore back, but his elite play is still carrying the Heat along well enough to earn some accolades.
The four-time MVP was named the Eastern Conference’s Player of the Week on Monday, after averaging 29 points, six rebounds and 4.8 assists as Miami went 4-0 last week.
This marks the 45th time James has won the award, the most in NBA history.
James led the Heat in scoring in all four games, reaching 25 points in all of them.
The forward has won Player of the Week honors 19 times since joining the Heat.
