Chaparral’s Davonte’ Neal was spectacular in the Firebirds’ win over North Canyon. The junior returned two punts for scores, scored on a screen pass and took an INT to the house.


— Apollo junior Jon Brown was spectacular in a win over previously unbeaten Thunderbird. He went 21 of 26 for 238 yards and four TDs and rushed for 100 yards and a score.

Hamilton’s Kyren Poe had 4 total TDs against Desert Vista and 261 yards of offense.

Bradshaw Mountain junior Tyler Audsley makes the list for the first time, throwing three TD passes and collecting 2 INTs on defense.

Chandler’s Brett Hundley had 293 yards of offense and three TDs in the Wolves’ win over Brophy.


Queen Creek’s Chim Nga rushed for 258 yards against Sahuaro.

P.J. Sparks of Mountain Ridge rushed for 170 yards and scored four times in their win over Desert Ridge.

St. Mary’s junior Orange Mooney scored three times against Ironwood.

I’m going with an entire offensive line here, as Apache Junction’s O-line unit paved the way for 357 yards rushing in a big win over Mingus.

Saguaro junior D.J. Foster had a great night in the Sabercats’ loss to Cactus, scoring four touchdowns.

Phoenix Christian RB Austin Condiss had 166 yards rushing and three touchdowns against Westwind Prep.

Valley Lutheran’s D’Mitri O’Brien continues to impress, rushing for 210 yards and three touchdowns Friday. He also completed a pass for a 77-yard score.

Willie Willis from Cienega rushed for 191 yards and three TDs against Flowing Wells.

Dylan Wimberly from Cholla was a workhorse against Sahuarita. He carried the rock 28 times for 243 yards and a touchdown.

Sophomore Spencer Woody had just 10 carries against San Tan Foothills but rushed for 195 yards and two scores.

Pusch Ridge’s Tyler Vance rushed for 145 yards on just three carries versus Baboquvari.


Hamilton junior Kendyl Taylor scored two TDs against Desert Vista, catching six passes for 76 yards. He also had 114 yards rushing.

Apollo’s Chrisdeon Ayiyi had seven catches for 104 yards and two scores against Thunderbird.

Buckeye’s Togi Hale scored three times against Coconino.

Rincon’s Joseph Matthews caught seven passes for 121 yards and a touchdown against Buena.

Special teams/defense

Centennial DB/RB Zach Hoffpauir had two INTs against Millennium and scored two TDs on offense.

DE Mark Grant from Valley Vista made seven tackles, including five TFLs against Willow Canyon.
