Coyotes sign four minor leaguers

The Phoenix Coyotes have signed right wing Mathieu Beaudoin, defensemen Garrett Stafford and Nolan Yonkman and goaltender Matt Climie.

Beaudoin, 26, played in 72 games for the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League (AHL) last season, recording 19 goals, 23 assists and 22 penalty minutes. A native of Rock Forest, Quebec, Beaudoin has appeared in 127 career AHL games and collected 30 goals and 34 assists.

Stafford, 30, a Los Angeles native, recorded 7 goals and 25 assists with the Texas Stars. He has played in 497 career AHL games over seven season, scoring 69 goals and 202 assists.

Yonkman, 29, appeared in 76 games for the Milwaukee Admirals of the AHL last season, recording two goals, seven assists and 170 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-6, 253-pound Yonkman has appeared in 50 NHL games with the Washington Capitals, 38 of those in 2005-06, and has played in 408 games in the AHL.

Climie, 27, appeared in 43 games with the Texas Stars, posting a record of 21-17-3-3 with a 2.46 goals against average, a .919 save percentage and three shutouts. He has appeared in four career NHL games and 49 career games in the AHL.
