The Phoenix Coyotes recalled forward Marc-Antoine Pouliot on Friday from the Portland Pirates, the team’s American Hockey League affiliate.
The 26-year-old pound Pouliot has appeared in 41 games with the Pirates this season, recording seven goals, 20 assists and 57 penalty minutes. He has also appeared in nine games with the Coyotes, collecting two assists. In 2010-11, Pouliot appeared in 69 games with Norfolk of the AHL, recording 25 goals and 47 assists to finish sixth in the league in scoring.
The 6-foot-2, 203-pound native of Quebec City has registered 21 goals, 34 assists and 76 penalty minutes in 188 career NHL games with the Coyotes, Tampa Bay Lightning and Edmonton Oilers.

Pouliot was originally drafted in the first round (22nd overall) by the Oilers in the 2003 Entry Draft.
