Cavs assign Felix, Sims to Charge

INDEPENDENCE, Ohio — The Cavaliers have assigned center Henry Sims and rookie swingman Carrick Felix to the Canton Charge of the NBA Development League, Cavs general manager Chris Grant said Thursday.

Both players will be available for the Charge’s game at the Erie BayHawks on Saturday.

Sims has appeared in six games for the Cavs and is averaging 1.7 points and 2.8 rebounds in 5.8 minutes.

Felix has appeared in three games. He is averaging 1.3 points in 5.0 minutes.

The Charge (4-0) are one of four unbeatens in the 17-team D-League.
