Aztecs in elite company with 25-win season
San Diego State reached 25 victories for the fourth consecutive year, a school record. SDSU is one of seven schools with 25 or more victories in each of the last four seasons, joining Brigham Young, Duke, Gonzaga, Kansas, Saint Mary’s and Syracuse.
The Aztecs have reached the MWC semifinals in seven of eight years and are 17-8 in MWC tournament play.
San Diego State is 4-0 in overtime this season and has a 14-1 mark in its last 15 overtime games.
The Aztecs are 20-2 this season when outrebounding the opponent.
BY THE NUMBERS: 98 The point-total against TCU was San Diego State’s highest since scoring 119 against Campbell during the 2006-07 campaign.
