Madi Kingdon recorded a match-high 16 kills on .406 hitting to lead Arizona (16-8, 6-6 Pac-12) to a 3-0 (25-22, 25-17, 25-19) sweep at Oregon State (9-14, 0-12 Pac-12) on Sunday.
With the victory, the Wildcats equaled their win total from last season with eight matches still to play. The win also snapped a three-match losing streak and gave Arizona its second road victory of the year.
Arizona finally broke out of its offensive slump, hitting a solid .291 for the match, while its defense held Oregon State to just .124 hitting. The Wildcats also outblocked the Beavers, 9.0-6.0. Arizona was also better behind the service line, recording five aces compared to just one for Oregon State.

Kingdon had her most efficient match in Pac-12 play so far this season with just three errors on 32 swings. Meanwhile, Penina Snuka did an excellent job of quarterbacking the offense, as she dished out a match-high 35 assists to go with six digs and four kills. She was a perfect 4 for 4 in hitting for the match.
Halli Amaro also had a strong match, as she recorded seven kills on .333 hitting to go with a match-high five blocks. Olivia Magill added eight kills and a block, while Taylor Arizobal provided six kills and two blocks. Jane Croson had five kills, six digs and two blocks for the Wildcats.
Ronni Lewis finished with a team-high eight digs to lead the defense, while Candace Nicholson tacked on seven digs.
Kelsey Zimmerman led Oregon State offensively with eight kills, and Becky Defoe recorded a match-high 13 digs for the Beavers on defense.
