Virginia Tech may have nabbed that needed road win against a quality non-ACC foe that could get it into the NCAA Tournament after winning at Oklahoma State over the weekend. The Hokies now have two victories over the Cowboys, with both wins away from Blacksburg.
Duke was really sharp in winning a pair of games by a combined 70 points. The Blue Devils scored 63 points in the first half of a 40-point rout of Western Michigan during the week.
North Carolina was focused early in a pair of routs, Miami had a nice 30-point win, Maryland made some strides, and N.C. State rebounded from a poor effort, albeit a victory, to post an impressive win.

But Florida State’s triple-overtime home loss to Princeton means the Seminoles will have an extremely difficult time making the NCAA Tournament. Georgia Tech fell at Fordham and Wake Forest barely beat Ivy Leaguer Yale.
