A large contingent of Team USA’s Winter Olympians made the trip to the nation’s capital this week, touring the White House and its surroundings before meeting with President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama on Thursday.

The president lauded the Sochi Olympians’ athletic abilities before impressively dropping some tricky snowboard terms.

"Back to back, double cork 1260 — I don’t know what that means, really," Obama said. "I’m pretty sure I’m the first president to ever say that."

"I don’t know how you guys do it," Michelle Obama said. "You guys do crazy things."

Here are some shots from the experience, as taken by the athletes themselves:

Though the most rousing post has to come from Kate Hansen. The luger quickly became a viral sensation when cameras captured her booty-shaking Beyonce-fueled warm-up during the Winter Games.

Hansen’s innate bust-a-move abilities have landed the Olympian on big screens well after Sochi. Here she is on the Dodger Dance Cam:

So it’s only natural that she dance-off with bobsledder Jazmine Fenlator and speedskater Eddy Alvarez on the White House lawn:

All natural recruits for the first lady’s Let’s Move campaign, no?
