Sochi Winter Games: What to watch on Friday

Here’s a rundown of the events to watch on Friday at the Sochi Winter Games (all times Eastern).

Men’s hockey semifinals — Sweden vs. Finland (7:00 a.m.) and USA vs. Canada (12 p.m.)

Women’s slalom (11:15 a.m.) — Mikaela Shiffrin has another chance at putting her stamp on the Sochi games

Men’s curlingCanada vs. Great Britain (gold medal match, 8:30 a.m.) and China vs. Sweden (bronze medal match, 3:30 a.m.)

Ladies’ ski cross (final 5:41 a.m.) — Will the women have as crazy a finish as the men did?
