Norway's Kilde beats Kline, Hirscher to win WCup Super-G
HINTERSTODER, Austria (AP) Aleksander Aamodt Kilde of Norway won a men's World Cup Super-G on Saturday for his second career victory.
Kilde timed 1 minute, 29.89 seconds on the Hannes Trinkl course, ahead of Bostjan Kline of Slovenia by 0.24.
Kilde and Kline also came 1-2 in a downhill four weeks ago in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany.
Overall World Cup leader Marcel Hirscher of Austria finished 0.35 back in third to increase his lead over his closest competitor, Henrik Kristoffersen of Norway, to 263 points. Kristoffersen doesn't compete in speed races.
Aksel Lund Svindal of Norway, who suffered a season-ending knee injury in January, still leads the Super-G standings, 25 points clear of Kilde.
