Want a waffle or some bacon with your Reds baseball?

While you watch Reds baseball at Great American Ballpark, you'll have new options for feasting.

A tasty new treat is coming to Great American Ballpark in 2014.

It’s not your standard ballpark hot dog, soda or peanuts. Think more along the lines of breakfast taken to the big leagues.

The Reds will feature a Taste of Belgium waffle stand at the park behind section 133 on the first base concourse.

For the lover of this delicacy come waffles with chocolate or strawberry toppings, as well as the especially delicious combination of a waffle and chicken with Ohio maple syrup and hot sauce. If you’ve never had it and doubt the combination, give it a shot and be prepared for your taste buds to be wowed.

Taste of Belgium is a Cincinnati favorite with a spot in the Over-the-Rhine area.

On the topic of waffles and breakfast, how about bringing bacon into the discussion?

The Reds will also add "The Bacon Challenge," consisting of eating four sandwiches with a pound of bacon, shredded lettuce, tomato and black pepper mayo packed on an artisan roll, and served with chips, half of a pickle and potato salad all in one inning.

Winners receive a T-shirt declaring their conquering of the challenge.

Your best bet may be to hope for the Reds to bat around to achieve this honor.
