After Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase said he won’t interview for any positions till after his season is over, Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels has been given permission to interview with the Browns.

Albert Breer of the NFL Network was the first to report the news.

McDaniels has previous head coaching experience with the Broncos, where he was fired midway through his second season at the helm.

The question is, will the possibility of the Browns drafting a quarterback and having a clean slate on offense be enough to draw a coach like McDaniels away from their current team?

Then again, it’s probably more about how many zeros would be on the paycheck.
