Ohio University senior forward Ricardo Johnson’s career is likely over after he suffered a double leg fracture in last weekend’s win at UNC-Asheville.

Johnson, who will have surgery on Thursday, was the Bobcats third-leading scorer at 8.4 points per game and third-leading rebounder at 4.8. He’d started all 13 games this season.

A native of Covington, Ky., the 6’5 Johnson played in 70 games over his sophomore and junior seasons. He had five career starts prior to this season.

The Bobcats are 10-3 and open Mid-American Conference play at Kent State on Wednesday night.
