Miley Cyrus shows Buckeye love, sends former player to ‘rock bottom’

Party in the O-S-U?

It’s been quite a year for Miley Cyrus. She’s already tainted the previously innocent foam finger and made a kitten into an enormous, frightening prospect.

Her latest stunt is not quite so wild but managed to get the attention of a former Ohio State basketball player.

Cyrus performed a show on her "Bangerz Tour" Sunday night at The Schottenstein Center in Columbus. Somehow the infamous pop singer got her hands on a Buckeyes basketball jersey and decided to take some photos in it, complete with tongue sticking out.

Not since Michael Jordan has showing your tongue while wearing a basketball jersey been on such prominent display.

No. 23 is the current jersey number for center Amir Williams but was once worn by David Lighty, who played for the Buckeyes from 2006-11. Seeing Cyrus in a jersey he sported for years in Columbus was startling enough for him to comment on the Instagram post.

the_lighty @evanalmighty12 see how they do me when I’m gone!!! I hit rock bottom.

Miley’s just being Miley — she can’t stop and won’t stop, no matter what Lighty thinks. Lighty’s ex-teammates once even sang one of her hits (to the dismay of ears around the Buckeye state).

After a couple shows in Missouri, Cyrus hits Louisville’s KFC Yum! Center, home of the Cardinals basketball team. So, watch out Russ Smith — you may be next.
