Columbus lineman verbally commits to Ohio State

Ohio State’s 2014 recruiting class grew to 22 Monday with a verbal commitment from Brady Taylor.

A three-star offensive lineman from Columbus Bishop Ready, Taylor originally verbally committed to Virginia Tech but changed his mind upon getting a coveted Ohio State offer.

He is the fifth offensive lineman to join the class and the ninth Ohioan.

Ranked the No. 77 tackle prospect in the country, Taylor is likely bound for a redshirt as a freshman.

Two of his fellow 2014 verbals on the line have already enrolled at Ohio State in four-star tackle Kyle Trout of Lancaster, Ohio, and three-star guard Marcelys Jones of Cleveland Glenville.

Set to join later are four-stars Jamarco Jones of Chicago and Demetrious Knox of Fort Worth, Texas.
