FOX Sports Ohio’s First Cavs Game Rating Up 100%, highest since 2010

The first Cavs game on FOX Sports Ohio last night generated a 9.13 household rating, up +100% over last year’s first game telecast (which was also nationally televised). It’s the network’s highest Cavs opener since 2010.

Last night’s rating is also up +20% from last season’s first Cavs game exclusively on FOX Sports Ohio and up +15% over last season’s average rating on the network.

The next Cavs game on FOX Sports Ohio is tomorrow as they take on the Heat in their home opener at The Q. A special one-hour Cavaliers Live pre-game show, presented by Toyota, starts at 6:00 p.m. with game action beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Tune in at 6:00 p.m. when Fred McLeod will have live interviews Dan Gilbert and David Griffin. Fans also won’t want to miss seeing Allie Clifton take on Richard Jefferson in a game of "FOX", our version of the basketball game "HORSE".

Plus, hear from Lebron James, Kevin Love, Mo Williams, Iman Shumpert and Kyrie Irving as they sat down exclusively with FOX Sports Ohio.

FOX Sports Ohio and Cleatus, the giant FOX Sports Robot, will be downtown Cleveland tomorrow afternoon. Look for him at The Corner Alley, Flannery’s Pub, and Barrio Gateway around lunchtime.

The network and Cleatus will also be outside The Q before the game beginning at 5:00 p.m. Fans are encouraged to visit the FOX Sports Ohio tent to meet and take photos with Cleatus. Fans who download FOX Sports GO will also be given a free prize!

Fans can also stop by the Cavs Fan Cam event at The Corner Alley from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. where they will have the chance to be recorded answering trivia questions. Their appearance will air later during an upcoming Cavaliers Live postgame show! Prizes will also be given away.
