COLUMBUS, OHIO — The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated center Artem Anisimov off Injured Reserve, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced Thursday. Anisimov, who has missed the past 23 games due to a torn triceps muscle, is expected to return to the lineup tonight when the Blue Jackets visit the Florida Panthers.

Anisimov, who also missed seven games earlier this season due to an upper body injury, has recorded two goals and four assists for six points with four penalty minutes in 16 games during the 2014-15 season. The Yaroslavl, Russia native has posted 81-90-171 with 122 penalty minutes in 376 career NHL games with the Blue Jackets and New York Rangers.

The 26-year old recorded 22-17-39 with 20 penalty minutes in 81 games last season, setting career highs in goals, game-winning goals (five), shorthanded goals (two) and TOI/game (16:35). Anisimov registered 11-7-18 with 12 penalty minutes in his first season as a Blue Jacket in 2012-13 after being acquired in a trade from the NY Rangers on July 23, 2012.
