The Minnesota Wild recalled forward Joel Eriksson Ek on Saturday and assigned defenseman Mike Reilly to the AHL.

The Swedish prospect was the Wild’s first-round pick in 2015, and is expected to make his NHL debut against the New Jersey Devils on Saturday night.

Eriksson Ek scored in his only AHL game this season, and scored nine goals last season for Farjestad of the Swedish Hockey League.

The 19-year-old was the league’s highest-scoring junior player.

A former Minnesota Gophers standout, Reilly is on the move once again, and has appeared in two games for Minnesota this year and one as a member of the AHL’s Iowa Wild.
