The Minnesota Wild have recalled forward Jordan Schroeder under emergency conditions from the Iowa Wild. The Wild had assigned the former Gopher to Iowa on Wednesday after he cleared waivers.
The 25-year-old played 25 games with Minnesota last season, scoring three goals and adding five assists. Schroeder, a native of Lakeville, Minn., also skated in three playoff games with the Wild last season. Schroeder measures up at 5-foot-9 and 184 pounds and has 23 points in 81 career NHL contests with Vancouver and Minnesota since being drafted by the Canucks in the first round (22nd overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
