Vikings sign four draft picks

The Vikings have signed half of their 2018 draft class.

Minnesota announced Thursday it had signed kicker Daniel Carlson, guard Colby Gossett, defensive end Ade Aruna and linebacker Devante Downs.

Carlson is a fifth-round pick out of Auburn where he was 92-of-114 (80.7 percent) on field goal attempts during his college career.

Drafted with the 213th overall pick in the sixth round, Gossett started all 13 games at right guard in 2017 at Appalachian State.

Aruna, taken 218th overall, played four seasons at Tulane where he recorded 107 total tackles.

Cal linebacker Downs was the Vikings final selection when he was taken with the 225th overall pick in the seventh round.
